The construction industry is seeing a rise in the use of prefabricated structures, with K houses becoming a popular choice for many applications. These houses offer a modern approach to modular construction, providing affordable and flexible housing solutions.
What is Prefabricated K House ?
A prefabricated K house is a type of modular building system built with a light steel frame and insulated panels, these structures are assembled on-site from factory-made components.
The “K” in K house refers to the modular system's design, 1K=1.82m, whichs is a modular size for the length and width of the house. It prioritizes speed, simplicity, and affordability in construction.

Features of Prefabricated K House
l Light Steel Frame: The durable light steel frame ensures strength and longevity while keeping the overall weight of the building light.
l Modular Design: K houses are made up of prefabricated modules, allowing them to be assembled quickly and disassembled just as easily when no longer needed.
l Cost-Effective Construction: With reduced labor and materials costs, K houses are much cheaper than traditional building methods, ideal for temporary housing needs.
l Thermal and Sound Insulation: Insulated wall panels ensure energy efficiency and comfort, making them suitable for various climates.
l Customizable Layouts: The modular nature allows flexibility in design, with multiple K houses able to be combined for larger spaces or specific functional needs.
l Durability: Despite their light construction, K houses are built to withstand harsh weather conditions and remain structurally sound.

The Aplications of Prefabricated K House
l Worker camp
l Warehouse
l Temporary school
l Site canteen
l Site kitchen
l Site office& meeting room

Difference Between Prefabricated K House and T House
While both the K house and T house are prefabricated modular systems, there are distinct differences between the two:
l Installation speed: K-type prefab house is 50% faster than T- type when being installed.
l Stability: T-type prefab house is more stable and stronger than K-type house.
l Size limitation: K-type prefab house has a standard size, and K-factor is the basic unit(K=1.82m) to form the length and width. The size of T-type prefab house is not fixed and can be customized.
l Steel frame position: K-type prefab house has an external steel frame, while the T-prefab is inside.
